ViiV's long-acting injection combo for HIV gets FDA

The FDA has approved Cabenuva, which combines rilpivirine, or
Janssen's Edurant, and cabotegravir from ViiV Healthcare, a GlaxoSmithKline
unit, as the first monthly, long-acting drug combo for HIV. The treatment was
developed as an alternative to daily pills currently needed to control HIV.
