Abbott's $5 COVID-19 test gets EUA; US buys $750M worth

The FDA has granted emergency use authorization for Abbott Laboratories' 15-minute COVID-19 antigen test, which doesn't require specialized laboratory equipment and will cost $5. The US government has signed a $750 million deal with Abbott to purchase 150 million of the rapid tests.
