The CMS has waived a number of Medicaid, Medicare and Children's
Health Insurance Program requirements for Louisiana and Texas hospitals
affected by Hurricane Laura. A special enrollment period was also opened for
some Medicare recipients and individuals who may need to change or enroll in
health coverage.
