A proposal to establish a paid medical- and family-leave program
in Colorado qualified for placement on the November general election ballot,
the secretary of state said Aug. 25. Proposed Initiative 283, Paid Family and
Medical Leave Insurance Act, was projected to have more than enough valid
signatures to place the proposal on the Nov. 3 ballot, the secretary’s office
said in a statement.
