The telehealth wave has spread to specialists, according to a
GlobalData survey that found 79% of cardiology, gastroenterology, pulmonology
and respirator specialists said they have turned to the technology more during
the COVID-19 pandemic. The analytics firm also found that most of those using
it now will continue to employ telemedicine technology.
