Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina on July 15 launched...
...a new initiative to lower drug
costs for some of its members, and encourage them to stay at home amid the
COVID-19 pandemic. The insurer's fully insured commercial members will receive
a 33% discount on 90-day supplies of maintenance medications through the end of
2020. Blue Cross NC currently covers 2,593,316 members, with 1,084,574 enrolled
in commercial risk-based products.
