Pandemic workdays were longer

Why it matters: A survey of 3.1 million workers around the world found the workday has lengthened by an average of 48.5 minutes. With fewer opportunities to bump into colleagues and just say something face-to-face, it's not a surprise that survey respondents also reported attending more meetings and sending more emails.
