Families consider age-related changes to their home

Jonas Carnemark of Carnemark Design + Build in Bethesda, Md., says there has been an increase in the number of people who want to modify their homes to increase accessibility, bring parents to live with them or add space for a caregiver. Some changes are not expensive, like adding a grab bar or rails for support, but adding an elevator can cost up to $100,000.
