US lacks consistent guidance on visits during COVID-19


There is no consistent message in the US offering guidance on visiting friends and loved ones during the novel coronavirus pandemic, especially aging parents who face greater COVID-19-related risks, writes Carolyn Rosenblatt, author of "The Boomer's Guide To Aging Parents." Rosenblatt says aging parents need social contact and it can be arranged using distancing and safety measures, which everyone must adjust to as part of the new normal.
